Josh Graupera’s 2018 PACE Report Released

Josh Graupera, the locally born PACE artist, has recently released his 2018 PACE Report, titled Public Art Community Engagement Southeast Lancaster Future Visions from 2018. Based on the information collected from Josh’s conversations with neighborhood residents through the PACE program, the report offers a broad idea of what residents in Lancaster’s Southeast neighborhood hope to see for their community in the future. PACE: Boosting Communities is a local program which aims to support more art-based community development by pairing artists with neighbors to define future public art projects that will coincide with the desires of the people who will see or use the projects most. Josh’s report is our first step in understanding how art-centered conversations can facilitate community engagement and revitalization in Lancaster’s Southeast Community.
